A Gift from the Gods is a local Handmade Greeting card business set up in 1995 by Magaret Halloran (native of Lismore Park) in Waterford City. The business is run by Magaret and was set up by her after she received praise for her handmade wedding invitations The business has four employees. The business prides itself on it’s professional and affordable handmade greeting cards and won Home business of the year award in 2012. The business also donates ten percent of it’s profits to the funding of local arts festivals such the Spraoi festival in Waterford. The business also donates five per cent of it’s profits to Ardkeen hospital and has been at the heart of the Lisduggan and wider Waterford area for the past twenty years
